Divine Basil Frank – It was me I took my time to listen to this beautiful rendition by Divine Basil Frank, one of the ways you get to know a musician gearing towards perfection is in the quality of the music they produce, regardless of how long they have been in the industry. Coming from the stance of a musician, keyboardist, and producer, I can tell you with uttermost certainty that this here is an assignment well done. If I were to dissect this song, I’ll probably bore you with the technicalities but trust me this is a priceless work of art. The amount of time invested in this singular project if replicated to similar projects of his could announce him to the world in a very short time. The arrangement is professional, it has the Black American Gospel feel, the intent of the producer is spelled out in the bridge just after the solo. What he did with the bridge getting to the end made it the heart of the entire soundtrack.
Divine Basil Frank has defiled all odds, his first major project but a hit. unintentionally, he has raised the bar and with someone like him in the territory, musicians have no choice but to sit up. if I were an investor or a record label, this is a gold mine untapped, I’ll place my bet on him. I believe he knows what he wants and is out to be the best in a competitive market. Music and the soul must be in agreement for one to win the hearts of other listeners, DBF spoke his heart, stringing it with musical instruments and finesse. This is undoubtedly “one of” if not the best gospel track in Nigeria for the year 2018. Congrats DBF, I celebrate with you. Meanwhile, please download the song and share. Thank you.
